M.A. Courses
The M.A degree will be awarded to students who complete a minimum
of 72 credits in a minimum of two years taking 6 core courses per semester. Each
core course will be of 3 credits (3X6=18Credits). Total courses will be-

• In
semester III and IV the student will opt one branch out of three branches i.e.
Ancient, Medieval and Modern Indian History according to the availability of
faculty in the department.
• A student can opt for a self-study programmes.
•
Each Courses will be evaluated for 60% marks at Semester end examination and 40%
for internal assessment.
